PC PARTY’S MPP CANDIDATE NOLAN QUINN MEETS WITH COUNCIL
The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne welcomed Ontario’s Progressive Conservative (PC) Party candidate Nolan Quinn to Akwesasne last week to discuss issues and goals for the future should he win his bid for MPP in Ontario’s Provincial Election on June 2nd.
Mr. Quinn is representing Stormont-Dundas-South Glengarry, hoping to succeed the retiring MPP Jim McDonnell.
Council and Mr. Quinn focused much of their discussion on mental health needs in Akwesasne and S, D & G, the cross-jurisdictional challenges Akwesasne experiences, and how we can work together to recover from the pandemic.
We thank Mr. Quinn for taking the time to visit Akwesasne and meet with our leadership.
