TSIIONKWANONHSO:TE NOTIFIED OF OFFICIAL OUTBREAK STATUS

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Department of Health (DOH) would like to inform the community the Tsiionkwanonhso:te Long-Term Care (LTC) Facility has entered into official Outbreak Status for COVID-19 as of Monday, December 5, 2022.

 

In the event of a COVID-19 outbreak, general visitors are asked to postpone non-essential visits to residents who are symptomatic and/or self-isolating in their unit until the outbreak has ended.

 

The team at Tsiionkwanonhso:te is ensuring all infection and prevention control (IPAC) practices are being followed to prevent the further spread of COVID-19 to other residents or staff.
