Akwesasne Travel is very excited to bring you the 2023 Akwesasne Art Market & Juried Show! We’re celebrating the world-class creative talent of our people (“Akwesasro:non” in our Kanien’keha language).

Join us Sunday, July 2 at Generations Park in Akwesasne, New York for a fantastic day of art, culture, music and food! We’re putting together a great line-up of special performances, cultural demonstrations, and live music you won’t want to miss.

The Juried Art Show features 12 categories, as well as awards for Judge’s Choice and the much-anticipated Best In Show honor. New this year is a juried show for rising artists age 17 and under.

Curious about how a log becomes a stunning basket? You’ll have a chance to find out! Meet the makers and see their inspiring works of basketry, pottery, sculpture, quilt design, painting, and more.

Explore one-of-a-kind pieces and grab a tasty bite at the open-air Market. Enjoy performances and demonstrations all afternoon, and live music into the early evening.
