TSIIONKWANONHSO:TE LONG-TERM CARE FACILITY OUT OF OUTBREAK STATUS

The Tsiionkwanonhso:te Long-Term Care Facility (LTC) was notified that they are officially removed from outbreak status. The Eastern Ontario Health Unit notified Tsiionkwanonhso:te that they were removed from outbreak status after LTC staff and residents completed two weeks of negative COVID-19 test results.

 

In order to be removed from outbreak status, all LTC staff, residents, and administration who work or reside in the facility had to test negative for COVID-19 for two consecutive weeks.

 

On behalf of the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne and MCA’s Department of Health (DOH), we would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to our LTC residents, residents’ families, and the community for their continued support, thoughts, prayers, and understanding during this difficult time. We’d also like to thank the LTC staff for their dedication and diligence throughout this process.
