MCA RAPID TEST KIT DISTRIBUTION

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne is announcing that there will be another community distribution of COVID-19 rapid test kits.

 

The distribution date for the rapid tests has been set for Wednesday, February 9 from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. at the following locations: A’nowara’ko:wa Arena Parking Lot, Kana:takon Recreation Centre Parking Lot, Tsi Snaihne Recreation Centre Parking Lot.

 

Rapid tests will be given out via drive-thru service at the locations listed above. Distribution is first-come, first-serve, and is limited to two (2) kits per household. We are asking community members to please stay in their vehicles when arriving, and have a mask on when receiving the rapid tests.

 

The MCA Wholistic Health & Wellness Program will be offering home delivery for any elders that are unable to attend the community distribution. To register an elder for delivery, please call 613-575-2341 ext. 3105.
