POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S ASSISTANCE IN ATTEMPTED ROBBERY
The Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service is asking the public to help them identify a suspect in a reported armed robbery attempt at a Cannabis Dispensary in Kana:takon, that occurred Thursday evening (March 3, 2022).
A male subject walked into Diamond Dispensary situated on Third Street at approximately 10:00 PM, portrayed to be a customer, and subsequently brandished a knife towards the store clerk, demanding money.
The robbery was unsuccessful, the suspect departed the business and was believed to have escaped on foot; his direction of travel is unknown at this time.
The suspect is described as a Native male, approximately 5’ 10”, wearing a light-colored camouflage jacket, a royal blue hoodie, black pants, and black Under Armour running shoes with white trim soles and a white-colored logo.
