AMBE & UCDSB RENEW 5-YEAR AGREEMENT
On Wednesday, June 22, representatives of the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne, the Ahkwesahsne Mohawk Board of Education (AMBE), and the Upper Canada District School Board (UCDSB) met at the Iohahi:io Akwesasne Education & Training Institute to sign the renewal of their 5-year agreement.
This collaboration aims to assist the transition of AMBE elementary students into secondary schools within the UCDSB, along with providing student support and culturally-relevant programming.
“AMBE values our relationship with the Upper Canada School Board,” said Director of Education Donna Lahache. “We have open communication and work collaboratively to support Akwesasne students throughout their high school journey.”
