DIHE INFORMS COMMUNITY OF RENOVATIONS IN KANONHKWA’TSHERI:IO HEALTH FACILITY

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Department of Infrastructure, Housing, and Environment (DIHE) is informing the community that starting on January 3rd, Mainville Flooring will be on site to install new tile on the Kanonhkwa’tsheri:io Health Facility (KHF) atrium staircase. This installation could take up to a week to complete. DIHE was informed that the tiles will be cut on the bottom floor of the KHF. There will be some noise disturbances experienced during this time.

 

Before Mainville Flooring arrives, the DOH/DCSS Maintenance Crew will be removing all the old tiles and prepping for the installation during the week of December 19th – 23rd. During this time, we kindly ask community members and staff to use the elevator or fire exit stairways. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause, and we appreciate everyone’s cooperation.
