IFN YOUTH CONFERENCE 2023

The Independent First Nations (IFN) and our hosts Temagami First Nation, are pleased to announce that the registration process for 9th Annual IFN Youth Conference “Back to the land, back to our Roots” is now officially open!

 

This year’s event will take place from June 11-16, 2023, with accommodations being located at the Canadian Adventure Camp (CAC). The CAC is nestled amongst magnificent 130-foot-tall pine trees on renowned Adventure Island, surrounded by the sparkling clear waters and natural beauty of Lake Temagami. Outside of accommodations, the majority of conference workshops and scheduled agenda activities will take place on Bear Island at the Minowaabandan-gamiing Maawanjihidiwining (MgM), also known as the Lakeview Gathering Place.

 

Those interested in registering must be from one of the IFN communities. Youth should be between the ages of 18-29 years.

 

Deadline to register: May 12, 2023 at 5 p.m.
