COLLEGE BUG OUT BAGS

The Akwesasne Child & Family Services Traditional Support Unit will be giving away book bags to college-bound students! Book bags include items such as sage to smudge, relaxation teas, and stress relief tools to help with overall physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health.

 

If you’ve received a bag in the past, you will not be eligible for this year’s giveaway. This giveaway is for any college-bound student (freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior) who hasn’t received a Bug Out Bag from prior giveaways.

 

The giveaway will take place on Thursday, July 27 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the St. Regis Recreation Center. Dinner will be provided, as well as presentations from local programs to give words of encouragement to the college-bound students.
