LOG POUNDING WORKSHOP

Thompson Island Cultural Camp is inviting the community to join them for a 2-day workshop to watch how to log pound black ash and learn more about this important step in the basket-making process. Demonstrations will be provided from Angello Johnson (Good Mind Design), Jack Johnson and Gary Thompson.

The event takes place April 3-4, 2024 at the A’nowara’ko:wa Arena with a 10:00 a.m. start time. 

Lunch will be provided and this workshop is open to all that are interested.
