MCA General Meeting for January 2026

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s monthly General Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, January 29, 2026 at the Tsi Snaihne Recreation, 6:00 p.m. start time. 

The MCA General Meeting will be a hybrid event (in-person and virtual). To receive the meeting link, please email meetings@akwesasne.ca. Questions and comments can also be sent to this email prior to the General Meeting for Council to address.

MCA Holiday Office Closures

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne offices will be closed for the holiday season from December 25, 2025 to January 1, 2026. 

This extended closure, which includes the days between Christmas and New Year’s, has been implemented to give staff additional time to spend with their families, supporting employee well-being and mental health.

Essential services, including 24-hour facilities, will remain operational throughout the holiday period.

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne wishes everyone a safe, joyful, and happy holiday season!
