DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH NOTIFIES THE COMMUNITY ON ENTRY PROCEDURE CHANGES FOR KANONHKWA’TSHERI:IO

The Department of Health is reminding the community of upcoming entry procedure changes for the Kanonhkwa’tsheri:io Health Facility. These changes are in an effort to enhance safety and security measures for community members and MCA staff within the health facility. The new entry procedure will take effect on June 3, 2024.

 

On June 3rd, the KHF main entrance will have a security door which requires you to be granted access by the receptionist desk. When entering the health facility, please report to the receptionist desk and inform them of your destination within the building.

 

The Sweetgrass Lane entrance (the doorway between KHF and AMPS) will be accessible via a Ring Camera security service. Any community members accessing the building through Sweetgrass Lane will have to request access by an intercom system, which then informs the reception desk of the requested entry. Reception will inquire about your destination and appointment time, and then grant you access. All entries through Sweetgrass Lane will be on camera and recorded.
