ORCHARD OUTING: APPLES, PLANTS, AND PLENTY OF SMILES
The residents of the Tsiionkwanonhso:te Long-Term Care facility recently took a trip to Marlin Orchards & Garden Centre! The totas (grandparents) were able to see the orchard, look at all the amazing plants and flowers, and also make a stop in the gift shop before leaving for the day.
Residents were able to choose a variety of any snacks and goodies they wanted. After their trip to the orchard, the elders and staff were treated to a charcuterie board, which consisted of all the snacks and goodies purchased at Marlin’s. They also provided a free basket of apples for our totas to enjoy!
