YOUTH SINGING GROUP
In collaboration with Akwesasne Child and Family Services Traditional Support Unit, MCA Community Health Program, and SRMT Mental Health Traditional Medicine Program, a Youth Singing Group for ages 12+ will be held every Thursday from November 7-28th between 6-8 p.m. at the Mohawk Nation Longhouse Cookhouse.
Youth will have the opportunity to learn about our social songs and traditional teachings while practicing.
Please Note:
We have changed the day of week and time of the Youth Singing Group for the month of November to Thursdays 6-8pm at the Mohawk Nation Longhouse Cookhouse.
20 youth will be chosen to attend the Fall Sing and social at Kahnawake Mohawk Territory based on engagement and participation in the group.
