TSIIONKWANONHSO:TE RESIDENTS AND STAFF THANK LAND-BASED HEALING FOR NEW GAZEBO

The Tsiionkwanonhso:te Long-Term Care (LTC) facility’s residents and staff would like to send a big nia:wen/thank you to the Land-Based Healing Program for the donation of a new gazebo. The LTC’s previous gazebo had been damaged during a January storm and was rendered unsafe for resident use.

The Land-Based Healing Program donated a new gazebo to the LTC to protect the tota’s from the sun and rain while they enjoyed outdoor activities and events. The tota’s thoroughly enjoy their outdoor time, taking in the scenery and the view of the St. Lawrence river, and took full advantage of the new gazebo this past summer and fall.

Nia:wen/thank you to Brandon David and Joey David from the Land-Based Healing Program for the donation and construction of the new gazebo at Tsiionkwanonhso:te. Our staff, and especially our tota’s, truly appreciate your time, effort, and energy.
