MCA WELCOMES NEW YOUTH COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVES
On Friday, February 21, the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne held a swearing-in ceremony to welcome the newest members of the Akwesasne Youth Council (AYC). This event marked a significant moment for the community as Cayde Lazore, Starlyn Mason, Iiokonhahes King, and Taylor Day officially joined the council.
The new AYC representatives took their oaths before Justice of the Peace Alexandra David at the Kawehno:ke Recreation Center, surrounded by family, friends, Council chiefs, and community members.
