ADDICTIONS SERVICES HOSTING SCREENING OF ‘A SOBERING STORY’ AT PORT THEATRE

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Addictions Services Program is going to be hosting viewings of the film “A Sobering Story,” a film co-produced by Ryan Hill. Ryan co-produced, directed photography, and was a co-writer of this dynamic and riveting portrayal of substance abuse.

All Akwesasronon and surrounding areas are invited to attend!

Ryan Hill is a Thunder Bay-based photographer and videographer, having graduated from Lakehead University. Ryan’s love of photography and video began in memory of a friend who lost their battle with mental health. In honour of their memory, a love of visual arts was fostered. Ryan has worked with many organizations, clients, and businesses across Northwestern Ontario, documenting many events, from corporate settings to hunting adventures in the area.

The film, “A Sobering Story,” will be shown at the Port Theatre in Cornwall on March 22-23, with doors opening at 12:45 p.m. for a 1:30 p.m. screening on both days. Ryan Hill will also be in attendance to provide information regarding the film’s production and to answer any questions from the audience.

The first 100 people will receive a complimentary gift. All attendees will be entered into a door prize drawing of a Ninja Creami or a Ninja Coffee Maker.
