UNOFFICIAL RESULTS FOR AKWESASNE MEMBERSHIP BOARD BY-ELECTION

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Chief Electoral Officer has provided the following unofficial results of the Akwesasne Membership Board By-Election, which was held on Saturday, April 5, 2025.

UNOFFICIAL RESULTS

Kana:takon District — One (1) seat for a 4-year term (time remaining):

Cody David — 33 votes
Rachel Smoke-Wheatley — 14 votes

Unofficial Candidate Elected: Cody David

Any appeals to the Akwesasne Membership Board regarding the election process must be handwritten, signed, and hand-delivered to the Akwesasne Mohawk Police Station no later than 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2025.
