MCA EARLY CLOSURE — HALLOWEEN

Halloween is a very big night for the village of Kana:takon. Hundreds of children and families participate in the village’s Halloween activities that are organized by volunteers and the St. Regis Recreation Committee. Trick or Treaters pack the streets on their feet, in cars, and in wagons.

With safety being of utmost priority, the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne offices located in Kana:takon will close at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2019. This will allow for staff and visitors to safely exit the village and avoid unnecessary traffic after the festivities begin at 4 p.m.
