BODY FOUND IS TSI SNAIHNE (SNYE)
The Akwesasne Mohawk Police are investigating a report of an unidentified body of a deceased male, located south of a residence on River Road in the district of Tsi Snaihne (Snye), Akwesasne, Quebec.
On April 30, 2020 at 9:00 AM, Central Dispatch received a call of an unresponsive male located on a private property in Tsi Snaihne. Officers responded to the scene and located a deceased male. The male has been identified, family has been notified, but has requested to hold the name of the deceased until further notifications have been made, the deceased male is a 31-year-old male from Akwesasne, New York.
The Akwesasne Mohawk Police have secured the scene, forensic identification assistance was received from the Sûreté du Quebec, Forensic Unit to assist with the investigation.
