ITINERANT VENDOR PERMITS ON HOLD

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne is informing the community that until the Emergency Declaration has been lifted, all Itinerant Vendor Permits, which is a permit for non-members soliciting business door-to-door, will be put on hold.

Contractors for household improvements (i.e. plumbing, carpentry, electrical, etc.) would not require a permit. Contractors are only required to obtain a permit if they go door-to-door soliciting business.
