VEGGIES & MEDICINE GIVEAWAY FOR ELDERS
The Kaienthóhsera – Akwesasne Garden Initiative will be giving away some vegetables and medicine (stinging nettle tea, mullein, achy joint salves, etc.)
All medicines were picked by the Kaienthóhsera summer students using cultural practices & protocols they learned while working with Thompson Island staff and external presenters.
This giveaway is open to elders only — there is a limited amount, so register soon by contacting Jessica Shenandoah at 613-930-3941 or jessica.shenandoah@akwesasne.ca. Delivery is available and can be arranged for those who need it.
