KAWEHNO:KE RECREATION COMMITTEE — SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS CANCELLATION

The Kawehno:ke Recreation Committee would like to announce that a decision has been made to cancel our biggest annual fundraising event of the year, “Spirit of Christmas”. 

The decision did not come lightly; however, it is important to us and a priority to continue to follow the COVID-19 protocols and social distancing restrictions in keeping the community of Akwesasne safe. 

The committee is planning a few events that will be held from a virtual platform or via CKON Radio. We are working in partnership with other local businesses. We will keep the community of Akwesasne informed via the Kawehnoke Recreation Facebook page and CKON Radio.
