AKWESASNE COMMUNITY WATCH — COMMITTEE INTEREST MEETING

In November 2022, the Akwesasne Mohawk Police held a number of information sessions for the newly-developed Akwesasne Community Watch Program. One session was held in each of the three districts explaining the purpose of the Akwesasne Community Watch and how this program will benefit Akwesasne.

 

The purpose of this program is to develop ways of keeping our community safe and establishing a healthy relationship with our local law enforcement.

 

Community members interested in being a part of the Akwesasne Community Watch are invited to attend the committee interest meeting. The meeting will be held on February 7, 2023 at the AMPS Boardroom from 6-8 p.m. Please register by February 5, 2023 with Norman King at 613-575-2340 or norman.king@akwesasne.ca.
