AKWESASNE MOHAWK POLICE INVESTIGATES MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT IN TSI SNAIHNE
On Sunday, December 8, 2019 at approximately 5:30 AM, the Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service received reports of a motor vehicle striking a utility pole in the area of River Road, Tsi Snaihne, Quebec. Police attended the scene and observed a motor vehicle overturned and the driver was trapped inside the vehicle. The Hogansburg Akwesasne Volunteer Fire Department (HAVFD) were dispatched to the scene where life-saving measures were taken to extract the individual.
The operator of the motor vehicle was transported to the hospital and remains in critical condition. The investigation was turned over to the Akwesasne Mohawk Police Criminal Investigation Unit for follow up.
