AMBE OFFERS BUS TRANSPORTATION TO COVID-19 VACCINE CLINIC

The Ahkwesahsne Mohawk Board of Education will be providing bus transportation for community members who want to get vaccinated at the COVID-19 vaccine walk-in clinic on Saturday, April 17.

The COVID-19 vaccine clinic will take place from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the A’nowara’ko:wa Arena on Kawehno:ke (Cornwall Island). The walk-in vaccine clinic will be open to all community members of Akwesasne, non-native spouses of Akwesasronon, and Akwesasronon & First Nations people residing in the City of Cornwall on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Rules of the bus:

• Masks/face covering must be work at all times. One (1) person per seat unless you are from the same household.
• Please be sure that you have your personal identification (e.g. status card, etc.) in case there are delays at the border. However, none are anticipated.
