ASSOCIATE MINISTER & MPP VISIT AKWESASNE TO HAVE HEALTH & ADDICTIONS DISCUSSIONS

Associate Minister of Mental Health & Addictions Michael Tibollo, and Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) Nolan Quinn, paid a visit to Akwesasne on Friday, August 11th. Associate Minister Tibollo and MPP Quinn’s visit was specific to continuing to build a relationship between the Ontario Government and Akwesasne in regard to Mental Health & Addictions.

 

A tour of Akwesasne was provided, as well as presentations from the Sahatihahará:ne Detox Center, the Mental Health Program, Dr. Ojistoh Horn on behalf of Wholistic Health & Wellness, and the Department of Health’s Land-Based Healing Program.

 

We thank Associate Minister Tibollo and MPP Quinn for their time and look forward to continuing to work together on improving services within Akwesasne for mental health and addictions.
