ATFE — SEED & GIVEAWAY
Due to COVID-19, the Akwesasne Task Force on the Environment (ATFE) will give away seeds & trees to the Akwesasne community similar to what was done last year. Starting Thursday, April 15, 2021 until Thursday, April 22, 2021, ATFE will take orders for seeds/trees over the phone and bundle the seed/tree packages together for you. On Saturday, April 24, 2021, you may pick up your bundle of seeds & trees at the former IGA building from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Note the traffic pattern for April 24, 2021 (click link below to view). For safety, all traffic will be required to use the main entrance at the traffic lights. You will then proceed to the canopy to pick up your seed order. You will remain in your vehicle and the ATFE volunteers will bring your order out. After you have received your order, please leave using the designated lane to the traffic lights.
