CALLOUT FOR INDIVIDUALS INTERESTED IN COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER INCOME TAX PROGRAM TRAINING
The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne is looking for ten (10) community members who are interested in CVITP Volunteer Training by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).
Volunteers with the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program will be able to assist Akwesasronon with tax form preparation and help them receive the benefits they are entitled to. No accounting experience is necessary for this training.
The CVITP training sessions will take place on the following dates at the Akwesasne Career & Employment Support Services (ACESS) Computer Lab:
Tuesday, March 24 — 9 AM – 3 PM
Wednesday, March 25 — 9 AM – 12 PM
This training comes at no cost to participants and volunteer certification will be awarded upon successful completion.
