CANADIAN FOOD INSPECTION AGENCY ISSUES RECALL ON VARIOUS BREADS AND BUNS DUE TO PIECES OF METAL
On Wednesday, November 6, 2024, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) issued a recall on various brands of breads and buns due to pieces of metal being discovered in the bread products. The affected food was sold in Quebec, Ontario, Newfoundland, and Labrador.
A total of 37 products were recalled, including brands Country Harvest, D’Italiano, Great Value, No Name, and Wonder. Affected bread products have been removed from shelves from the various stores that had received the tainted bread products.
