COMMUNITY HEALTH SERVICES WELCOMES NEW PROGRAM SUPPORT OFFICER

The MCA Department of Health’s Community Health Services would like to extend a warm welcome to Teresa Oakes. Teresa is Community Health’s new Program Support Officer. Teresa joins the Community Health team with years of knowledge and experience within the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe, as well as community involvement in various activities and events.

 

Teresa is a lifelong resident of the District of Kana:takon, and a mom for four children: Kaylin, Austin, Anabel, and Kamila. She is also a grandmother of three.

 

Teresa has worked with the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe (SRMT) since 2011, starting as the Receptionist, offering outstanding customer service. She then became the Accounting Assistant in the Finance Department and most recently served as the Grants & Contracts Officer, where she oversaw procurement services for the SRMT.
