COMMUNITY SUPPORT PROGRAM TO DELIVER SOCIAL ASSISTANCE CHEQUES ON DEC. 30
Greetings Community Support Program Clients,
Please be advised that due to the MCA office holiday closure from December 25, 2020 to January 1, 2021, the Community Support Program staff will be hand-delivering cheques to social assistance clients on Wednesday, December 30, 2020.
While staff will be out delivering that day, the CSP office is technically closed, so clients will be unable to call us.
We ask that recipients please try to be home the day of December 30, 2020 when CSP staff are distributing cheques to each of your homes. If you are not home that day, please check your mailbox when you return if you live in Tsi Snaihne or Kawehno:ke. If you live in Kana:takon, your cheques will go back to the post office to be placed in your PO mailbox.
This is an extra effort being done by our CSP team to ensure you get your monthly cheques when you may need it the most. If for whatever reason we are not able to get you your cheque the day of December 30, 2020, we will be able to get it to you by January 4, 2021 when MCA offices reopen. For our clients who utilize direct deposit: you should receive your cheque in your bank account the same day of December 30, 2020.
