DCSS FOOD SECURITY PROGRAM UPDATE

NEXT DISTRIBUTION SCHEDULED FOR APRIL 8-9, 2021

In light of MCA’s recent closure to the public, the Department of Community and Social Services’ Food Security Program would like to inform the community that next week’s distribution will continue as scheduled.

The food distribution will take place on April 8 & 9, 2021. Community members are asked to register by 4:30 p.m. on April 6, 2021. To register, please call 613-936-1548 ext. 1300/1302 or email foodsecurity@akwesasne.ca. 

Please be reminded to follow the COVID-19 prevention measures in place: wear a mask, practice social distancing, and only arrive at the distribution site at your confirmed pick-up time. For the safety of staff and the community, drop-ins are not allowed.
