DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH WELCOMES DR. TOM CURRY TO THE MEDICAL CARE TEAM

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Department of Health (DOH) would like to welcome Dr. Tom Curry to the Medical Care Team. Dr. Curry is Mohawk from Six Nations of the Grand River. 

Dr. Curry completed his medical degree at McMaster University and his residency training at Queen’s University, where he specialized in Family Medicine, with a focus on Indigenous Health. He further honed his skills through practical experiences as a Family Physician at Tyendinaga First Nation. This experience emphasized holistic and culturally informed care. 

Dr. Curry is a dedicated and compassionate physician, and his work will be guided by dedication to building trust, fostering community relationships, and delivering high-quality healthcare services.
