DIHE: UPCOMING TREE REMOVALS

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Department of Infrastructure, Housing, and Environment will have two local companies cutting trees in the following areas this week:

1.     St. Regis Mission Church yard

2.     Cornwall Island Road East (before the A’nowara’ko:wa Arena Road)

3.     Cornwall Island Recreation Centre, Community Centre Road

 

The trees identified pose a health and safety risk to vehicles, pedestrians, and community infrastructure.

 

There will be markers and traffic control in certain areas, please use caution and reduce speed.
