DOH ANNOUNCES OPEN COVID-19 VACCINE CLINIC DATES AT A’NOWARA’KO:WA ARENA
The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Department of Health (DOH) is informing the community that there will be a 3-day COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic at the A’nowara’ko:wa Arena open to all community members of Akwesasne. The vaccine clinic will take place on April 15, 16, 17, 2021, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and is by appointment only. Any adult community members (age 18 years or older) are eligible to register for the COVID-19 vaccine. Non-native spouses of community members residing in Akwesasne, and Akwesasronon residing in the City of Cornwall, are eligible to receive the vaccine.
There will be no walk-in vaccines administered; therefore, you must call the Emergency Operation Center (EOC) to register for the open clinic dates. Please don’t assume you have an appointment unless someone from the EOC has informed you of your appointment time.
