DOH COMPLETES FIRST COVID-19 COMMUNITY VACCINE CLINIC

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Department of Health finished up its first round of the community vaccine clinics!

Elders received their first dose of the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine at the Kana:takon Recreation Centre. Additional vaccination clinics will be scheduled in the upcoming weeks and more community members will be contacted to arrange appointments. If you haven’t already, please pre-register for the vaccine by calling MCA Community Health at 613-575-2341 ext. 3219 or 3247.
