The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Department of Health (DOH) is informing the community that the telehealth service with Dr. Curry will be relaunched on Friday, September 20, 2024. The service has been revamped and will now include virtual video consultations with Dr. Curry. All virtual video calls will take place through the Kawehno:ke Medical Clinic (KMC).
Dr. Curry will be assisting community members through phone or virtual care. These services will be conducted at the KMC from 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. every Friday via video conference. Any community member who schedules a virtual video appointment with Dr. Curry will be required to be in the KMC to meet with Dr. Curry. He will be able to fill prescriptions and refills, however, he will not be issuing prescriptions for narcotic medications or refill orders. Dr. Curry will not be accepting new patients as their regular healthcare provider, meaning clients will continue to see their regular primary healthcare provider.
