DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH WELCOMES NEW HEALTH ADVISORY BOARD MEMBERS

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Department of Health (DOH) welcomed new members to their Health Advisory Board. DOH conducted a swearing-in ceremony with the new board members on Wednesday, July 26th. 

 

The board consists of community members from each district who will provide community input and ensure good governance of DOH and its priorities. DOH Advisory Board members were selected after a call-out period and based on letters of interest submitted. The DOH Advisory Board meets four (4) times per year to review DOH activities and provide feedback to DOH from community input.
