DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH WELCOMES NEW REGISTERED DIETITIAN

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Department of Health would like to welcome their new Registered Dietitian, Anne-Charlotte George, to the Clinical Care Services Sector. Anne-Charlotte will be providing a range of nutritional consulting services related to chronic disease management, as well as community programming which will include presentations, cooking classes, and more.

Anne-Charlotte is able to provide dietary consultations for a range of health issues, such as: diabetes, pre-diabetes, gestational diabetes, heart health, liver disease, kidney disease, weight management, picky eating, or general nutrition advice.

Anne-Charlotte joins the Clinical Care Services team with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the dietitian field. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Human Nutrition with the Integrated Internship Education Program from Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. She had been working as a Dietitian in an Indigenous community in Nova Scotia for five years before recently moving to Cornwall with her husband.
