ELDER SERVICES GEARS UP FOR EXPANDED SUPPORT

The MCA Department of Health’s Elder Services Program is excited to showcase their newest addition — a fully equipped pickup truck with a snowplow and spreader, ready to serve the community with care and dedication! Through their Minor Home Maintenance Program, Elder Services continues to assist clients with light chores around the home, while now offering exciting new services, including snow removal during the winter months and basic lawn care throughout the summer season.

Elder Services remains deeply committed to enhancing the quality of life for community members by ensuring their homes are safe, comfortable, and well-maintained. These services are available to elders ages 60 and older, with an exception for individuals ages 55 and older who have a medical disability. Intake sessions will be conducted for those interested in accessing these services.

This purchase was made possible through funding from Ontario Health East. To learn more or to schedule an intake session for snow removal or lawn care, please contact MCA Elder Services at 613-575-2341 ext. 1626.
