EOHU — SOCIAL DISTANCING PUBLIC HEALTH MEASURES
On March 22, 2020, the following order was made by Dr. Paul Roumeliotis, the Medical Officer of Health of the Eastern Ontario Health Unit (EOHU). This is to ensure that social distancing public health measures are carried through and to clarify any confusion for the public.
In the EOHU area, the following establishments/premises are asked to be immediately closed.
- All DAYCARE AND OTHER CHILDCARE CENTRES AND SERVICES (LICENCED OR PRIVATE) located in the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry; the United Counties of Prescott-Russell; and the City of Cornwall, are to immediately close their premises until further notice;

All PUBLIC GYMS, FITNESS AND SPORT CENTRES AND SERVICES located in the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry; the United Counties of Prescott-Russell; and the City of Cornwall, are to immediately close their premises until further notice;

All CHURCHES, MOSQUES, SYNAGOGUES AND OTHER PLACES OF WORSHIP located in the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry; the United Counties of Prescott-Russell; and the City of Cornwall, are to immediately close their premises until further notice; and

All PERSONAL SERVICES SETTINGS AS DEFINED IN THE HPPA, INCLUDING ALL PREMISES AT WHICH HAIRDRESSING AND BARBERING, TATTOOING, BODY PIERCING, NAIL SERVICES, ELECTROLYSIS AND OTHER AESTHETIC SERVICES ARE OFFERED located in the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry; the United Counties of Prescott-Russell; and the City of Cornwall, are to immediately close their premises until further notice.
