Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Community Coordinator, Dept. of Housing, along with the Bank of Montreal (BMO), will be hosting a Financial Literacy Workshop on Wednesday, February 26 from 5 PM – 7 PM at the Iohahi:io Akwesasne Education & Training Institute.
Topics will include the importance of a good credit score, savings accounts, MCA’s Good Standing Policy, housing/mortgage applications, estates, and how death can affect estate claims. Housing and BMO will also provide a Q&A session upon the completion of their presentations.
