MACHINE READABLE STATUS CARD SESSION IN TSI SNAIHNE
MACHINE READABLE STATUS CARD SESSIONS IN TSI SNAIHNE
The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne would like to invite the community to learn more from Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) as they introduce a machine readable format on Secure Certificate of Indian Status cards. This has been done to help simplify the border crossing process for First Nations individuals using the status cards as a piece of identification at ports of entry (POE) between Canada and the United States. These intake sessions follow previous sessions held on Kawehno:ke last month (April 2019).
When: May 30 – 31 | 11 AM – 7 PM
Where: Iohahi:io Akwesasne Education & Training Institute
