Avaanz Ltd. is inviting Akwesasronon to public consultation meetings and information sessions on Cairn Island! Join us at either of the remaining sessions:
March 5, 2025: SRMT Seniors Center from 5:00 pm. – 6:30 p.m. March 12, 2025: St. Regis Recreation Center from 5:00 pm. – 6:30 p.m.Learn about the sacred historical connection of Cairn Island to the Mohawks of Akwesasne through a presentation from the project team. Following the presentations, attendees can participate in a Q&A and share stories about the island and its significance to Akwesasne. Your input will help inform interpretation site options to be enjoyed by all.
