HILLTOP DRIVE IN KANA:TAKON WILL BE REDUCED TO ONE LANE TODAY & TOMORROW
The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne Dept. of Housing is notifying the community that a portion of Hilltop Drive in the village of Kana:takon will be reduced to one lane temporarily today and possibly tomorrow – Nov. 25 & 26, 2019.
The lane reduction will allow contractors to complete a waterline hookup southwest of the First Street and Hilltop Drive intersection (toward the health facility). The lane closure will begin at 10 a.m. today (Monday, Nov. 25) and continue until approximately 5 p.m. If necessary, the work will continue tomorrow (Tuesday, Nov. 26).
Traffic flowing to and from the area of the Kanonhkwa’tsheri:io Health Facility may wish to utilize the Park Street route instead.
