HYDRO-QUÉBEC VEGETATION CONTROL WORK

Please be advised that Hydro-Québec has procured services to have vegetation control work done within the Districts of Tsi Snaihne and Kana:takon for five weeks starting Monday, March 20th.

 

The sub-contractor being used is AD Tree Service from Kahnawake. The work will occur under and around the hydroelectric lines along established routes within the two districts. AD Tree Service will work Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

 

The work will result in a wood chip by-product that can be available to community members who have an interest in utilizing it. There will be two locations where individuals can enter to pick up wood chips at their own risk. The first location is at the future administrative building site in Tsi Snaihne (corner of Snye School Road and Iohahi:io Road). The second location is at the sand storage dome on Sweetgrass Lane in Kana:takon (across the road from Sweetgrass Manor).
