IAKHIHSOHTHA LODGE NOTIFIED OF COVID-19 OUTBREAK STATUS

MEALS ON WHEELS PROGRAM TO BE PROVIDED BY TNT DELI

 

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Department of Health (DOH) would like to inform the community that the Iakhihsohtha Lodge has entered into COVID-19 Outbreak Status on November 14, 2023 due to three residents testing positive.

 

There are currently no restrictions on visitation. However, masks are mandatory at all times when visiting loved ones, and there is no mingling or visiting others throughout the facility. If you are not feeling well, we strongly advise that you stay home. The health and safety of our residents and staff remain our top priority during this time. 

 

The Meals on Wheels (MOW) program, which is operated through Iakhihsohtha, will be provided by TNT Deli until further notice. The normal MOW delivery schedule will be followed.
