KANONHKWA’TSHERI:IO MAIN ENTRANCE UNDER CONSTRUCTION ON JAN. 25

COMMUNITY & STAFF TO USE SWEETGRASS LANE ENTRANCE

 

The Department of Health (DOH) and the Department of Community & Social Services (DCSS) is notifying the community that on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, the main entrance to the Kanonhkwa’tsheri:io Health Facility (KHF) will be undergoing construction, and will be closed. All staff and community members entering the KHF will be directed to do so through the Sweetgrass Lane entrance (between KHF and the Akwesasne Mohawk Police Services station). We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

 

Staff and community members accessing the KHF via the Sweetgrass Lane entrance will still be required to complete the COVID-19 screener prior to entering the facility. Reception staff will be stationed at the entrance to complete the screening process for those entering the health facility. 

 

The Community Health Program will be conducting COVID-19 testing on January 25th, and request that community members parking along Sweetgrass Lane to not block the parking along the north entrance of the building.
